Although I can personally think of way more than 5 reasons to gift succulents, I, like others,
have personally chosen my 5 top reasons why our succulent gift boxes are much better than
gift-giving the same old same old....blah, which really makes little impact for many. Regardless if we are celebrating a Birthday, New Baby, or whatever.....in our opinion, succulent gift boxes are something new and unique..., now that is something that will make them feel you were thinking, outside the box of what we gift normally.
1. SUCCULENTS ARE MORE UNIQUE and MEMORABLE (THAN FLOWERS).
Right off the bat you will stand out because buying a succulent gift box instead of flowers is just
unique and impressive.
We offer amazing designs in our succulent gift boxes, which start with the smaller more simple
and elegant, ranging to a larger arrangement.
Here you will see a wonderful way to display a bunch of succulents designed by our friend
Veronica Guzman at her shop called Garden Vibes in Southern California. Just a piece of art!
2. SUCCULENTS GIFTS LAST LONGER THAN FLOWERS
Please don’t get me wrong, I love flowers from time to time, but when gifting always choose succulent because they just last longer.
The succulents that come in my gift boxes are super happy and healthy. Compared to plants or flowers, succulent are tough buggers to kill. Their easy-going nature means that succulents can
survive all sorts of conditions and are destined for a long and full lifespan. Some may even live 30+ years! They are also easy to regrow and propagate, and may even experience new growths
on their own. In my personal opinion, nothing is worse that gifting a gift, paying hard earned cash, and having it die after a few days Yet most of us this this is normal. Succulents aren’t a
gift for the season—they are a gift for life.
3. SUCCULENTS ARE WAY LESS IN MAINTENANCE THAN FLOWERS OR PLANTS
By definition, succulents are drought resistant plants that store water in their leaves, stems, and roots. This gives them a fleshy appearance, known as succulence. While you can’t forget about them completely, they need very little attention.
Succulents, plants adapted to survive in harsh environments and long periods with very little water, play by their own rulebook, but they’re still pretty easy to care for.
A bouquet will die within a few days—maybe a week if you’re lucky. There’s no avoiding it. However, a succulent arrangement can last months without any care at all! It may not look its best after a few months of complete neglect, but it will look a lot better than dead flowers.
Even with minimal care, you can extend the life of the arrangement. It doesn’t take much, and it will for sure last longer than your cut flowers would.
4. SUCCULENTS ARE KNOWN TO MAKE PEOPLE HAPPY
Succulents, like many other green plants, are good at cleaning the air. They work to remove toxins from the air such as benzene and formaldehyde. Succulent roots draw air into the soil, where they convert harmful chemicals into nutrients. I have even read that succulents are proven to improve concentration, productivity, reduce stress levels and boost your mood.
Well, you probably heard that plants make you less stressed and happier. Well, that’s absolutely true! Succulents add positive vibes along with purifying your environment. Moreover, while succulents do not need extra care, your loved one will be glad to have this plant that will grow healthier even with less care.
5. SUCCULENTS COME IN MANY COLORS AND SHAPES
When you get to discover all the shapes and colors succulent come in, you will fall in love with them as I did and understand why they were a no-brainer in adding them into our succulent gift boxes. With all these different colors and shapes, it’s easier for us to make lovely arrangements because we let nature do most of the work with the amazing colors they provide us. Succulents are normally known for their rich green color, but did you know that there is a wide variety of colorful succulents? You can find vibrant red succulents, muted blue succulents, and many colors in between. Some also have beautiful accent colors like yellow, white, and black.
So, are you convinced yet that succulents are better or at least on par with other gift ideas?
Share your thoughts with me. Overall, in some parts of the world and in mine, a succulent is widely known as a symbol of tenacity, strength, and selfless love. Therefore, gifting succulents would be a great idea to show your unconditional love to the person you care for the most.
